Moskito is a giant mosquito and the first boss in Rayman, located in the Dream Forest, in Moskito's Nest.
When Moskito is first encountered, he chases Rayman with a giant spiky fruit. During the battle, he attacks Rayman by trying to poke him with his nose and uses spiky berries of varying sizes to attack with. With some sort of reflex, there is possible to hit him two times per turn, but that needs to be very speed - Rayman must hurt him twice before he starts flying up after first hit.
In the PS version, Moskito has different colours; instead of being mostly purple with white gloves, and a yellow nose, shoes and stripes, he appears a more reddish purple colour, is a dark purple where he used to be yellow, and his gloves are changed to a brighter purple. Also, his wings change to red. Another difference is that the berries he uses are different colours instead of all being the same colour.
