The General, as seen in a promation video for the then-planned 2D version of Rayman 2.

The General appears in Rayman 2: The Great Escape and is seen only once for a short period of time near the end of the game. He makes his appearance in the Buccaneer in a cinematic scene. He has purple skin, a uniform with badges pinned to it, wears a hat causing his eyes to become barely visible and he has no arms or legs simply hands and feet like Rayman.

Role in Rayman 2

He sells a machine called the Grolgoth to Razorbeard so that he can destroy Rayman. Razorbeard in return gives him a massive pirate's chest full of gold.

• The General appears in intro cutscene of the PC version of Tonic Trouble.
