Dark Rayman (not to be confused with Bad Rayman from the original Rayman and its remakes) is an evil clone of Rayman playable as a special skin for the latter. He appears only in the North American release of Rayman Arena for the Gamecube and Xbox, and is unlocked when the Master League has been successfully completed. His origin is unknown, but he is speculated to be an allusion to Bad Rayman because of his similar nature and colour scheme.

In Rayman Arena, Dark Rayman becomes available as a computer controlled opponent when all games in the Pro League are successfully completed. It is then he who will be the only opponent in the Master League, and once this is completed, he will become available to play.
Character description
Akin to Bad Rayman, Dark Rayman has a different colour scheme to his original counterpart. His shirt is a darker shade of purple, his neckerchief is golden yellow, his shoes are dark orange instead of yellow, and instead of the white ring on the shirt, there is a white X. Both his eyes and gloves are bright red, though his hair and skin remains the same colour. Because he is actually a skin though, he behaves exactly the same way as Rayman does, only that unlike Bad Rayman, he does not copy his exact actions or cause death upon touch.
