Description

Devilbobs are small round creatures with red skin. They have tiny dragon wings, have two small talons and a small mouth full of fangs. They also turn into red spikeballs when provoked.

In Rayman Adventures, specifically in the Desert Kingdom, their design is slightly modified to fit the theme of the world. They sport a blue false beard and their wings are blue scarab wings. They still protrude spikes upon contact.

Appearances

Rayman Legends

In Rayman Legends, Devilbobs appear in the worlds Teensies In Trouble, 20,000 Lums Under the Sea and Olympus Maximus, as well as in the Dojo, one of the challenge worlds. In terms of gameplay, they are reminiscent of the Psychlops and the red birds from Rayman Origins. Devilbobs can be defeated with one punch.

Rayman Adventures

In Rayman Adventures, Devilbobs appeared in the Land of the Livid Dead during the Summer Marathon event in July-August 2017 and the Dungeon Marathon event in October-November 2018. They also appeared in the Desert Kingdom during the Desert Marathon event in January-February 2018. Their wings and beards were changed to ancient Egyptian fashion for the occasion.

Devilbobs in this game behave the same as in Rayman Legends.

An unused animation of a Devilbob is present in the game files, and can be used to replace the enemy which appears on the right side of the pause screen.

Rayman: The Board Game

In Rayman: The Board Game, Devilbobs appear as enemies on the Hell board.
