Arms are invicible enemies from Rayman 2: The Great Escape.

They appear in The Cave of Bad Dreams, where they are locked up with others nightmares. They hide in dark caves or water. But some have taken advantage of the destruction of The Heart of the World to escape and take refuge in a secluded world: The Tomb of the Ancients. They hide in coffins and giant chests.

Arm mow the area in front of their hiding place at regular intervals. If Rayman gets too close, they catch and drag him over to them to kill him.

Some arms of The Cave of Bad Dreams hold giant skulls. They are not a danger to Rayman. On the contrary, they help him to move from one place to another.

Trivia

• The Tentacle and the Nettles, other enemies from Rayman 2, appear and behave in a similar fashion. Although they too are effectively invincible, Rayman's attack will at least force them to retract for a short time.
• In Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, we encounter the arms resembling those from Rayman 2. They are called Tentacle Claws.
