In Rayman and its spin-offs

Lava rocks are found in the Blue Mountains and the Caves of Skops. They are either found alone or thrown by stone men. They hurt Rayman and can explode if they hit the ground with a certain speed or if they are punched by Rayman. Once they explode, the scattered remains of the rock fly away in all directions from the rock, damaging Rayman on impact.

In Rayman Designer

In Rayman Designer the lava rocks can be found in the Mountain and Cave worlds as enemy events. They come in two types: the Small bounce lava rock (titled Small-jump lava rock in the Cave world) and Big bounce lava rock (titled Large-jump lava rock in the Cave world) with the only difference being how fast they bounce. They can also be thrown by certain types of stone men.
