Rocky is an enemy character found only in the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman 3, and is the boss of Magmacosm, the third of the game's four worlds. Similarly to Foutch, he attacks with columns of fire, which he summons from a drain by smashing on the ground like Mr Stone.

Description

Rocky bears a very strong resemblance to Axel, Foutch and Grolem 13, three of the Guardians of the Four Masks of Polokus. Like Umber – the one Guardian with an inexplicably different physique – Rocky seems to be associated mainly with the classical element of earth. Also like Umber, Rocky is made of stone, and dwells in a fiery environment. Rocky's helmet (or perhaps it is his head) appears to be an upside-down stone bucket, and he wears large red gloves on his fists. Rocky has large muscles and biceps, with spiked stone shoulderpads. Like the Guardians, he has no legs and appears to float.

Battle strategy

Like the Guardians, his only weak spot is his head; Rayman must wait for Blue Lums to materialise, then grab them to gain the temporary super helicopter ability. He can use this to fly up and punch Rocky's head, with each hit causing him to lose one third of his health. When Rocky is defeated, his head explodes into dust, followed shortly by the rest of his body.
