The First Grand Minimus, the worse for wear... thanks for guarding the Heart of the World all this time, old chap!
The Original Grand Minimus is an unlockable Teensie character in Rayman Origins. 95 Electoons are needed to unlock him at the Snoring Tree. He bears a strong resemblance to the Grand Minimus, but appears to be older, more decrepit, and zombified. He wears a grey gnawed crown, a purple coat with cyan edges and a dark-green shirt; all of them apparently rotten. Unlike most of the Teensies, his skin is dark-blue and hairy, with a skull-shaped spot in his nose, and his eyes are completely pink, without visible pupils. Despite his physical condition, he shares the exact moveset as the other playable characters. He acts as a dark counterpart to the Teensie characters, and in this sense he is comparable to DarkRay and Glombrox, and can be seen along with them in the Halloween trailer of the game, walking like a zombie and trying to scare a Granny, who realizes their presence and quickly smacks them with her handbag.
The Original Grand Minimus was the first Teensie King in the entire legacy, but he retired presumably due to his old age, or his possible abrupt death. He is an ancestor of the younger Grand Minimus that appears in Rayman 2, Rayman 3 and Rayman Origins. The Original Grand Minimus shall not be confused with the Griskins, another race of undead Teensies; these are more related to spiritual beings than zombified bodies.
