Ghosts are enemies who appear in Rayman Legends, Rayman Adventures, Rayman Mini, and Rayman: The Board Game.

Appearance

There are two different types of ghosts: green and red.

Green ghosts have two eyes and a mouth with a few teeth. Some remain motionless in one place, while others fly through the air. Heroes can take them out with any kind of attack.

Red ghosts have only one eye and no mouth. They spend their time flying through the air. They are able to surround their shroud with flames, making them invulnerable to the heroes' attacks. Murfy can eliminate red ghosts by hitting their eye, but if he is not with the heroes, they should simply be avoided.

Both types of ghosts glow and have two small arms and two small ears. They also laugh when defeated.

Appearances

Rayman Legends

In Rayman Legends, ghosts are found in Teensies In Trouble and Toad Story. They can notably be seen flying around in the Phantom Manor stages, which take place inside old castles.

Along with other creatures from Teensies In Trouble, red ghosts later appear in What the Duck? - Invaded.

Ghosts can also be found in two areas of the Online Challenges, Murfy's Dungeon and the Neverending Pit.

Rayman Adventures

In Rayman Adventures, green ghosts appear in Medieval Mayhem. Their behavior and appearance are the same as in Rayman Legends. Red ghosts do not appear in this game.

Rayman Mini

In Rayman Mini, tiny red ghosts can be found in the levels "Poisonous Mushroom" of the Swamp and "Extreme Fishing" of the Bonus world. From version 1.3.0 onwards, they are also found in "Swampy Flamenco", the music level set in the Swamp. Green ghosts do not appear in this game.

Rayman: The Board Game

Red ghosts are set to appear in Rayman: The Board Game as Level 4 projectiles. They have the following effects on their Projectile card:

• 1: All players on the first level take damage.
• 2: All projectiles detonate, dealing damage to all players 8 spaces adjacent to them. Remove all projectiles from the board.
• 3: All players on the second level take damage.
• 4: All players lose 1 Movement action THIS ROUND.
• 5: All players who are not in bubble mode take damage.
• 6: All players on the third level take damage.

They were unveiled as the second lucky ticket. Green ghosts do not appear in this game.
