Grappling fist
The grappling fist is the third power that Rayman is bestowed by Betilla the Fairy in the original game, at the end of Moskito's Nest. However, it is still possible to get the Helicopter before. It allows Rayman's fist to grab things such as extra lives and flying rings. In Mr Dark's Dare, the final level of the game, Mister Dark steals Rayman's Grappling Fist. Then he attatches it to the end of a rope, and mocks Rayman by pulling it away when he reaches for it. Eventually, two Electoons fly up to the Grappling Fist and take it back down to Rayman, just in time for the final boss fight. Rayman lost his Grappling Fist again when the Robo-Pirates destroyed The Heart of the World, and a weakened Rayman was captured by them. Then Ly the Fairy gave Globox a Silver Lum, and sent Globox to allow himself to be captured. When captured, Globox was reunited with Rayman, and could give Rayman the Silver Lum, restoring his Grapplin Fist and allowing him to break free of the Prison Ship.
