The Mamma of All Nightmares

The Mamma of All Nightmares, titled Land of the Livid Dead on the world map, is the final level in Rayman Origins. It consists of the fifth and final part of the Land of the Livid Dead, the optional final world of the game. The level has the players in battle Big Mama – a monstrous, mutated nymph. Beating her unlocks in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions the hidden trophy/achievement Nothing Lasts Forever. This part of the level is the fortieth and final overall that's included in the Back to Origins mode in Rayman Legends.

Part 1-4

In Rayman Origins, The Mamma of All Nightmares is the fifth part of a level called Land of the Livid Dead. The first four parts are known as Don't Trample the Flowers.

Part 5

When Rayman and the team first enter this level, Big Mama is sitting in lava while singing and painting her nails green. When the team bounces onto her arm, it causes her to scream and then she moves her arms around in an effort to get them off of her. The heroes must avoid the spiky bracelets that slide down her arms and the spikes on her elbows. They then must hit a Bubo on her arm that only appears for a short time. Then, they land on Big Mama’s head, where they must destroy her eyes.

The team will land back on Big Mama’s arms, and blinded, she will attempt to hit him with her spiky elbow. The team must then perform a wall jump between her arms to stay above the lava, then he must jump up as Big Mama sticks her arm under the lava several times. After that, they can hit another Bubo on her arm. They'll then end up back on her head, where they hit a giant Bubo that appears, thus defeating her. She will then turn back into her nymph form. After she gives her thanks, the credits will play.

The level remains the same, with the exception of added cages. Also, once Big Mama is defeated, she doesn't turn back into a nymph but rather disappears completely.
