Re: RayTunes 5.0
Ha super ! Merci pour vos réponses les gars ! :D

I had Rayman M in hungarian, and most of the names were translated (including levels as well). I think except for Legends and Origins, none of the other games got a translation, but I don't have the hungarian version of those, so I don't know if they used the names from M, or went with new/the original ones. I'll try to make M work on my laptop so I can take a few screenshots, but for the time being here they are:

Rayman -> Rayman (it's the same)
Globox -> Gombóc (~dumbpling)
Teensies -> Pöttömök (~tiny ones)
Henchman 800/1000 -> Csatlós 800/1000 (means the same)
Razorbeard -> Pengeszakáll (~blade beard)
Razorwife -> Pengéné (~Mrs. Razor)
Tily -> Dili (~crazy, silly, but in a cute way, like when you don't want to offend someone when they say something stupid "don't be so silly")
Interesting find! I didn't know that Origins and Legends got translated. This must be a different edition (like the Polish, Hebrew or Russian Rayman 3) because Hungarian isn't present in Carrot's files. Getting our hands on these would be incredibly useful too.
Okay, so seems like I was mistaken, since apparently Legends never had a hungarian version, but Origins does have it (according to steam and uplay). Sadly, I only own a copy on uplay, and I have yet to find a way to install the launcher on linux, but as soon as I do, I'll make sure to come back to this topic.

Re: SOTM#123 – Freestyle – VOTE!
That's what I thought when I suggested Pink, but guess what, I won! :fou:

Anyway, Rabbid theme could be good. Any other suggestions?

Re: SOTM#123 – Freestyle – VOTE!
Well, Easter is celebrated in April, so the next theme could involve the rabbids, however I don't think that idea would be well received.

I own the Sega Saturn manual of the original Rayman, which includes the Italian and Spanish translations, I uploaded the scans on Google Drive: Link
Amazing contributions! Btw, I wonder if there would be any problem if we upload the Rayman manuals (that can obtained from the official Nintendo site) to the wiki. I tried to make a copy of them in the Wayback Machine, but it seems that those urls are excluded from the site (possibly because of Nintendo's request).

Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
+ Going to go through my backlog and beat some games. Need to finish the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Re: Rayman Headcanons
My personal headcanon is that none of the Rayman type characters in Legends are actual separate characters, and are indeed just Rayman wearing goofy costumes (or lack thereof in the case of Rayomz). All except for Raymesis who as far as I’m concerned is just Dark Rayman’s form before he changed to the all black form that is seen in the invaded levels.

Seriously. < is cool with playing it safe. But straight up worrying about things is not the way.

"Territorio della Banda"? Really? Talk about the worst of all worlds… :boon:
Yeah, clearly not all translations are born equal. :mrgreen: It's the oldest official name we have, though.
Pity it doesn't seem to have occurred to any official translator to use "Cielo Cromatico" though. :sad: (Unless I'm missing some obvious reason it wouldn't work as well in Italian? :oops2:)

Re: The You Game!
< has just been trying out different hardware in a computer build since we're supposed to stay in anyway. < wonders how long this would take to end, even if people obeyed the guidelines.

Tue Nov 15, 2016 4:10 am:
Rémi Gazel, who composed most of the music from the original Rayman, just launched a Kickstarter campaign for 50,000€ to fund the recording of an album containing 12 songs from his compositions for that game. This new album would of course be available as a digital and CD version but their wish is also to produce a vinyl collector album.
Should backings exceed a second threshold of 115,000€, Rémi's intention is to invite Pixelophonia, a symphonic orchestra dedicated to video game music, to join in.
You can access the Kickstarter campaign and participate by clicking here.

Monday, August 8th 2016:
On August 8th 2003, Pirate-Community was created for all Rayman fans to share their interest and to aggregate the best content about the series. Thirteen years later, we're on the verge of updating the website to a brand new version, with many great features and changes for the community to enjoy. Rayman Adventures is still being updated and played by many fans, new records are reached in Rayman 3, and hope is not lost for a new Rayman game. While the number of messages posted last year, 105,979, for a grand total of 1,155,132, is far from our record, it is still higher than the previous year and we have a good number of active members. RayWiki, available in seven languages, now contains a total of 4479 articles, 130 more than a year ago. RayTunes, now ten years old, is nearly complete, thanks to the many soundtracks added last year: Tonic Trouble (PC version and GBC), Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Fiesta Run and Rayman Adventures.

So, stay tuned for the upcoming updates, long live Rayman, long live Pirate-Community!

RayTunes is nearly 10 years old! It's been a while since the last update, but the music collection on this page is nearly complete - especially with this latest update which includes not one but three new soundtracks.
The first new soundtrack is the long-awaited Tonic Trouble soundtrack (PC version). The soundtrack from the GBC version of the game was also added to the collection, thanks to L.M. Murphy.
Music from Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Fiesta Run and Rayman Adventures was also added to the Rayman Mobile soundtracks section.
A rip of additional music from the Rayman 3 early preview disc is also in progress. Apart from that, we may also add music from the educative games in the future. You can check the forum here for news.
