Lone Wolves are enemies that appear in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and its DLC, Rayman in the Phantom Show. They are a variant of the Scoper enemy.
Lone Wolves are long-range snipers that can climb to higher ground for a tactical advantage. Their defining characteristic is a reaction shot technique called "Evil Sight", which allows them to immediately attack any hero that moves within their line of sight.
Appearance
Lone Wolves are a hybrid of a Rabbid and a wolf-like canine. They have gray fur, and are distinguished from their Scoper counterparts by the red handkerchief tied around their neck and a green eyepatch with a glowing red lens over one eye.
Abilities
Using their "Longshooter" weapon, Lone Wolves fire a single, powerful projectile from a long distance. They are capable of climbing walls to reach elevated positions. Their most dangerous ability is "Evil Sight", a technique that creates a large area of effect around them; if a hero moves within this area, the Lone Wolf will instantly fire upon them. Only two Lone Wolves can use this technique per turn. They are weak against the Burn effect but resistant to Frostbite.
Tacticam analysis
Highly mobile. Strikes at long distances. Evil Sight Technique allows them to fire upon Heroes who move within their line of sight, even at long-range.—Tacticam analysis, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
- Weak: Burn
- Resistant: Frostbite
- Attack: Longshooter. Fires a single long-range projectile with a flat trajectory.
- Technique: Evil Sight (2-turn cooldown). Any target moving within the bearer's line of sight and within range are successfully attacked.
- Movement: Climb x1. Quickly climb to high ground.
Memories
Cursa's cunning is endless. If I were not an AI, my studies would quickly give way to emotion. These long range threats climb quickly to high elevations to achieve tactical advantages, and make use of a special attack triggered by movement. They have a sensitivity to fire, but are well protected against Frostbite-charged attacks.—JEANIE, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
