For now, I am removing the Cursa and Spark Hunter links as the ''Sparks of Hope'' main game is currently not given full coverage here. Maybe this can be reconsidered later, but let's finish documenting all aspects of the DLC first: the navigation box still has quite a few red links.

Goombas are a species from the Super Mario franchise which appear as background characters in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and later as enemies in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and its DLC, Rayman in the Phantom Show. They are brown, little creatures that look like mushrooms, and are among the weakest and least threatening enemies encountered in the game.

Goombas with metal pots on their heads are also encountered as enemies: they are called Armored Goombas.

Plot

In Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Cursa hypnotizes the Goombas into attacking the heroes along with the Spark Hunters, after which their pupils then turn orange, With this, Cursa wants to increase the number of his army.

Appearance

Goombas are fungal creatures that look like brown mushrooms or chestnuts. They have two feet but no arms, and their heads are attached to their feet by a mushroom stem. Their large faces, sporting scowling black eyebrows and two upward-pointing fangs, take up most of their mushroom cap.

Abilities

Goombas are found in lines of three, and are usually weak enough to be defeated by a single dash attack. If not defeated in on hit, they flip over, after which they can be picked up and thrown. The Goombas' only attack is the dash.

Tacticam analysis

This article or section needs to be rewritten and/or expanded.

Memories

Goombas are even more menacing under Cursa's supervision! Thankfully, they are still Goombas - a single dash can hit multiples of them.

Yet Cursa's cunning is always present - some of them wear Darkmess-infused cooking pots that make them immune to weapons or physical attacks. Only by launching them outside the boundaries of the battlefield can they be defeated.
