Wildclaws are enemies that appear in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and its DLC, Rayman in the Phantom Show. They are large hybrids of Rabbids and tigers with a giant claw who aggressively pursue any hero that attacks them, striking back with powerful close-range attacks.
Appearance
Wildclaws are hybrids of Rabbids and tigers. They have orange fur with black stripes, and a massive, oversized claw attached to one of their arms.
Abilities
The Wildclaw's only method of attack is a close-range slam with its giant claw. Their primary trait is an ability called "Hot Pursuit": if a hero attacks a Wildclaw from a distance, the Wildclaw will immediately abandon its position and rush towards the attacker. If it manages to get within range in the same turn, it will perform a counterattack. This aggressive behavior can be exploited to lure them into traps or away from objectives. Wildclaws are resistant to the Burn effect but are weak against the Splash effect.
A friendly version of a Wildclaw can also be summoned by the heroes using the Wildclaw Master Spark, although it has considerably less health than regular Wildclaws.
Tacticam analysis
Viciously goes after its nearest challenger to unleash area attacks that inflict a massive amount of damage. If attacked, it will charge at its attacker in a rage, during which it will launch an extra attack.—Tacticam analysis, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
- Weak: Splash
- Resistant: Burn
- Attack: Claw Fist. Short-range area attack.
- Ability: Hot Pursuit. If attacked, moves towards the offender. If they're within range, performs an extra attack on them.
Memories
These creatures inherited feline DNA, giving them formidable predatory instincts. They rush their attacker instantly when assaulted – a habit we can use to our advantage to lure them where we wish. These Wildclaws despise contact with water, and are resistant to fire-based attacks. To my surprise, I find them both menacing and cute, a reminder that bioforms are complex, varied, and often hold contradictions.—JEANIE, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
