You're gonna have your hands full with Oozers, alright. Their magical powers can block techniques, Spark powers - even attacks! They even have this Ooze effect that'll poison you - you'll take damage at the start of each turn!—Aquaquake, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Oozers are enemies that appear in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and its DLC, Rayman in the Phantom Show. They are cloaked, floating Rabbids that specialize in hindering the heroes by using magical abilities that can block attacks or special powers.
Appearance
Oozers are floating Rabbids that wear black and green cloaks. Their long purple hair is parly tied back.
Abilities
Oozers attack by launching a projectile called Slimy Splurt, which deals damage and applies the Ooze effect, poisoning heroes and causing them to take damage at the start of their turn. They possess two different short-range techniques to disable heroes: 'Disarm' prevents a hero from using their weapon, while 'Muzzle' blocks the use of Techniques and Spark powers. An Oozer can only use one of these techniques at a time, and they each have a cooldown. Oozers are weak against the Gust effect but are resistant to Ooze.
A friendly blue-colored version of the Oozer can also be summoned by the heroes using the Oozer Master Spark, although it has considerably less health than regular Oozers.
Tacticam analysis
Attacks are Ooze-based. Has mastery over two Techniques: One prevents targets from attacking. The other one prevents targets from using their own Techniques and their Spark powers.—Tacticam analysis, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
- Weak: Gust
- Resistant: Ooze
- Attack: Slimy Splurt. A medium-range projectile with a flat trajectory and an Ooze Effect.
- Technique: Disarm (2-turn cooldown). Targets are prohibited from using their weapon attacks until the effect wears off.
- Technique: Muzzle (2-turn cooldown). Target can't use Techniques or Spark powers until the effect wears off. Active skills remain unaffected.
Memories
Once again, it is not just the tactics employed by our enemies but their synthesis that speaks to Cursa's villainy. These mages unleash an Ooze-based attack, and have the ability to make the Heroes even more vulnerable to it through special abilities – one denies Heroes the aid of any Techniques or Spark powers. The other denies Heroes the use of their weapons. They are anathema to Gust-based attacks.—JEANIE, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
