Armored Goombas are a stronger variant of Goombas which appear as enemies in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and its DLC, Rayman in the Phantom Show. They are Goombas with Darkmess-infused metal pots on their heads, and are immune to damage, the only way of defeating them being to throw them outside of the battlefield.
Appearance
Armored Goombas are identical in appearance to their regular counterparts, with the exception of the metal pot they sport on their heads.

Abilities
Armored Goombas cannot be damaged by attacks, and their only weakness is the dash, which causes them to flip over, after which they can be picked up and thrown. Throwing them outside of the battlefield is the only way to defeat them. While still affected by Super Effects, they suffer no damage from them. The Armored Goombas' only attack is the dash.
Tacticam analysis
The Armored Goomba wears a cooking pot that makes it immune to damage from weapons and physical attacks. It must be launched outside the boundaries of a battlefield to be defeated. It can also be pushed or bounced out of bounds with Gust or Splash Super Effects.—Tacticam analysis, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Memories
Goombas are even more menacing under Cursa's supervision! Thankfully, they are still Goombas - a single dash can hit multiples of them.Yet Cursa's cunning is always present - some of them wear Darkmess-infused cooking pots that make them immune to weapons or physical attacks. Only by launching them outside the boundaries of the battlefield can they be defeated.
