Dawn Sand is the first Advanced race course in Rayman M. It is unlocked upon the completion of all three race courses in the Beginner League.
Description
This level, along with the other racing courses in the Advanced League, is based on the beach levels of Rayman 2 such as the Whale Bay.
Hidden shortcut
After the first watery slide, there will be a flower on the left jump. If it is hit, then an area will be opened on the left hiding speed pads. This shortcut was removed in the North American PlayStation 2 version of the game.
Lums mode
In certain versions of the game, Lums mode is impossible to complete with a +5 bonus. As the flower shortcut was removed from the North American PlayStation 2 version of the game, the three Yellow Lums inside are inaccessible, and in the European PlayStation 2 version, a lone Yellow Lum on a high ledge near the start does not appear.
