Spellraisers are enemies that appear in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and its DLC, Rayman in the Phantom Show. They are cloaked, ghost-like Rabbids who specialize in summoning other enemies to the battlefield. Their name is a portmanteau of "spell" and "hellraiser".

Appearance

Spellraisers are floating Rabbids who wear light blue cloaks. Their faces are obscured by long, purple-colored hair.

Abilities

In battle, Spellraisers attack from a distance by firing a long-range projectile called a Malice Bolt. Their main ability, however, is to summon Stooges to assist them in combat, similarly to the Summoners from Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Unlike them, however, Spellraisers can summon their minions instantly. They are vulnerable to the Gust effect but are resistant to Ooze.

Tacticam analysis

Long-rage[sic] attacker. Summons Stooges to the battlefield.
—Tacticam analysis, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
  • Weak: Gust
  • Resistant: Ooze
  • Attack: Malice Bolt. A long-range projectile with a flat trajectory.
  • Technique: Summon Stooge (2-turn cooldown). Summons 1 Stooge ally.

Memories

The cowardly Spellraiser prefers to keep its distance, targeting Heroes from long range with a powerful bolt of menacing energy. When not so engaged it summons other minions of Cursa's army to do its dirty work for it. It feels right at home when in contact with slime and ooze, but is vulnerable to attacks that make use of gusts of wind.
