Squashettes are enemies that appear in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and its DLC, Rayman in the Phantom Show. They are Rabbid-pig hybrids who carry Thwomps—sentient stone blocks from the Super Mario franchise—on their backs, and the female counterparts to Squashers, another type of enemy that only appears in the base game.

Appearance

Squashettes are very similar in appearance to Squashers, other Rabbid-pig hybrids who carry Thwomps on their backs, but they are differentiated by their more feminine attire. They wear blue dresses and blue cone-shaped hats, and have long, dark eyelashes.

Abilities

Squashettes are highly mobile, frequently jumping across the battlefield to reposition themselves, which allows them to clear gaps and reach higher ground easily. They do not land directly on their targets but rather nearby, causing a shockwave with a Gust effect that damages and repels any heroes within its radius. They are weak to the Frostbite Super Effect but are resistant to Gust.

A friendly, blue-colored version of a Squashette can be summoned by the heroes using the Squashette Master Spark, although it has considerably less health than regular Squashettes.

Tacticam analysis

Leaps high into the air, landing near as many opponents as possible to inflict a Gust attack that sends them flying backwards.
—Tacticam analysis, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
  • Weak: Frostbite
  • Resistant: Gust
  • Movement: Tremor Toss. Inflicts damage and repels all targets within its area of effect.

Memories

Another pig merged with the DNA of a Rabbid and made vicious by Cursa. Oddly enough, it believes itself to be a ballet dancer. While it is graceful – especially considering the Thwomp it carries on its back – it is the explosion of air it generates after pirouetting into the sky that impresses. They despise cold, but as they are weighed down by their Thwomps they are impervious to strong winds.
