Golly G. Golem is the fifth level of the Mystical Pique, the fifth world in Rayman Origins. In this level, Rayman and his team of heroes battle the Golem, a gigantic statue of living rock. This is the second level from this world and thirty-fourth overall that's included in the Back to Origins mode in Rayman Legends.

Original version

Area 1

In the first area, the team is in the snowy environment. They will have to use the wall run ability to progress upwards. A couple of stone men block the path. The exit is close to the second stone man. Before that, the first Skull Coin can be collected by using a rope to get to a platform where the running on walls power can be used to get to the coin.

Area 2

Still in the snowy environment, the heroes will have to continue moving up. The second Skull Coin can be collected by jumping on the explosive bulb and getting the coin before it falls down with the collapsing platform. Once the team gets onto the nearby rope, if they jump to the right, the first secret area can be found. When the Electoons are saved, the team can continue moving up. To get to the exit, the players will have to time when they use the running on walls power in order to avoid the Darkroots.

Secret Area 1

The players will have to time a body slam in order to destroy all of the Psychlops to break open the Electoon cage.

Area 3

Into the strange cave like area, the team will have to avoid the spikes while taking advantage of the wall running power and the Fakirs. The third Skull Coin can be safely retrieved by using the glide power to avoid the spikes right underneath the coin. The exit is to the right of the spikes.

Area 4

In this snowy area, Rayman and his friends will need to use the platforms moving down to get to the top. The fourth Skull Coin is located to the right near the bottom. The fifth coin is to the left side on the top. The exit is at the end of the top platform.

Area 5

Immediately into the area, the team will need to destroy the three Darktoons in the way. The second secret area can be found by dropping down to a black rope close to the door. After that, the heroes will need to constantly use the wall run ability to get to the exit. They will have to avoid Darkroots as they run on the walls.

Secret Area 2

In order to reach the Electoon cage, the players will need to avoid the incoming lava rocks being thrown by a stone man. Along the way, Fakirs will become helpful in reaching to the top. Once the stone man is defeated, the cage can be broken.

Area 6

Similar to the fourth area, the team will need to move up while using the falling platforms. The sixth Skull Coin can be found on a long pipe in between two Darktoons attached to the side of the pipe. When the players get to the top, the exit is to the right.

Area 7

After advancing in the cave area, Rayman and the team will come across the boss of the Mystical Pique, Golem. He can be defeated by waiting and using paths to reach and punch the vulnerable weak spots. Once three weak spots have been hit, Golem will be defeated and sink down, causing platforms including nenuphars to appear to help the heroes advance to the exit.

Area 8

All the team has to do is brake open the Electoon cage to finish the level. They will pose on the photoboard as the Magician waits for the total amount of Lums that were collected in the level.

Back to Origins

In the Back to Origins version, there aren't many differences between the original version; except of the notable elements from Rayman Legends replacing some of the elements from Origins.
