Hi! I'm Ray502, though most people on RPC call me Ray. Obviously, I enjoy Rayman! I created and developed fangames like Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance, and Rayman 2: The Alternate Side.
My story with Rayman
In 2003, at the age of 3, I watched my older sister play the original Rayman on the PlayStation 1. That's pretty much how I got interested in the Rayman series, and I've never looked back since then. I've gone on to have a great selection of Rayman games. My interest peaked so high in the series to where the franchise will forever be my favorite.
In 2012, I began working on Rayman fangames. In 2016, I officially released my first one, titled "Rayman: Razorbeard's Vengeance." After production of Razorbeard's Vengeance was completed, I began working on the sequel.
Rayman Pirate-Community story
In May of 2012, I joined Rayman Pirate-Community where I can discuss Rayman and the topics of life. I was an active member from 2012-2013, as a member that was trying to fit in with the older and more experienced crowd. During 2014-2015, I became inactive, allowing to work on myself to become a better member in the future. In May of 2016, 4 years after signing up, I returned to being an active member. My countless contributions to the forum and to RayWiki led me to being promoted to an English Moderator in March of 2017.
RayWiki contribution
On January 25th, 2017, I started to contribute to the RayWiki. I began on adding information about gameplay and the levels of the original Rayman game, as well as adding more information about Rayman 2, and Rayman 3, and fixing grammatical errors. As of February 19th, 2017, I fully committed to RayWiki, working on adding a ton of information on certain articles that needed such information. Articles include the Rayman Designer levels, the Walk of Power article, the Rayman 3 level articles, and the UbiArt titles, Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends. The following is a summary of what I have done for the RayWiki and my current work.
- Number of edits: 1,061 (as of May 31, 2017).
- Focused on currently: Rayman Legends level articles.
- Other focuses: Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge level articles (including photos), improvements to any other article.
- Future plans: Add photos to Rayman Advance article, add all of the quotes to Rayman M.

Trivia
When I first started playing the original Rayman game, the level I got stuck on was the second phase of Allegro Presto.
In 2007, my first copy of the original Rayman no longer worked, freezing up at the main menu. I wasn't able to play again until 2010 when my parents discovered eBay. I completed it 100% that same year, and now consider the game easy to beat.
Before production of Razorbeard's Vengeance began in 2013, I considered to make the fangame like the cancelled Rayman 2 prototype. But due to the poor layout of the tiles, I cancelled it after only 1 month of working on it.
I plan to go apply at a university in my state and get my bachelor's degree in game design after high school. Specifically level designer, programmer, and sketch artist. Maybe if the Rayman series is still alive I'll try to get hired from UbiSoft.
