Canopy is a racetrack exclusive to Rayman Rush. It is part of Zone 0 and one of the three courses themed after the Pirate stronghold.

The layout of the level is a slightly modified version of Big Bang.

Description

Canopy can be played in five modes: Training, Time Attack, Championship, Lums (40 Yellow Lums to collect) and Target (20 Popolopoïs to shoot). Completing the level in the Championship mode in the first position unlocks access to Forest Jump. The track includes two checkpoint lines and four switches.

The racecourse takes place high in a very dark forest. Wooden platforms and Robo-Pirate structures connect tunnels carved in enormous tree trunks. Canopy's layout can be described as a rather simple and short loop. The obstacles and objects, which can be found in this stage, are: dashboards, bumpers, climbing walls, Purple Lums, slippery surfaces, pools of golden coins that serve as mud, rolling kegs and a lot of explosive barrels.

Trivia

  • The course shares its name with a level in Rayman 2, but the two do not appear to be connected. Canopy is rather loosely inspired by the Canopy, as both stages are set high in the trees.
  • In the single-player mode, the player always faces Razorwife as the opponent, until she is chosen to play as by the player.
  • Canopy is the only stage in all of the ports and versions of Rayman M that utilizes golden coins as a mud surface that slows down the player's character.
  • The level has an error: every character's background music is played in the crypts version, instead of the Pirate stronghold one.
