Arms are invincible enemies from Rayman 2.

They appear in the Cave of Bad Dreams, where they are locked up with the other nightmares. They hide in dark caves or in water. But some have taken advantage of the destruction of the Heart of the World to escape and take refuge in a secluded world: the Tomb of the Ancients. They hide in coffins and giant chests.

Arms move around in the area in front of their hiding place at regular intervals. If Rayman gets too close, they catch and drag him over to them to kill him.

Some arms of the Cave of Bad Dreams hold giant skulls. They are not a danger to Rayman. On the contrary, they help him to move from one place to another.

Arms also appear in the Echoing Caves in Rayman 2 Forever, the Game Boy Color version of Rayman 2.

Trivia

• The tentacle and the nettles, other enemies from Rayman 2, appear and behave in a similar fashion. Although they too are effectively invincible, Rayman's attack will at least force the latter to retract for a short time.
• In Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, the heroes encounter tentacle claws, enemies resembling arms from Rayman 2.
