Mechanical birds are contraptions which appear in Clearleaf Forest in Rayman 3.
They look like disembodied, metal vulture heads. When first encountered, they are sleeping as everything is normal in the area. However, if Rayman attacks a Hoodlum or punches it, they wake up and start cawing, indicating some sort of danger. They cannot be defeated and can hurt Rayman if he comes too close. These are probably Hoodlum invention.
The first one appears in the first part of Clearleaf Forest, above a doorway with a wooden door, out of the player's reach. The second one, which can be punched, appears in the second part of Clearleaf Forest. If the player punches it, it reacts to them.
