Sharkmen, also known as Sea Sharks, are monstrous enemies that make their first appearance in Rayman Legends. Along with the Toads, these creatures seem to defend a Dark Teensie's secret base hidden underwater. Their tactic consists on taking defective pieces of machinery from a pile behind them to throw them at Rayman and his friends, trying to harm them with their dangerous electricity. For unknown reasons, they seem to be immune to that electricity. This attack appears to be inspired by that from the stone men.

As their name states, they are humanoid creatures, apparently mutated with shark features. The colours of their skin, the gills on their necks and some facial features are those of a shark, while the rest of their bodies, specially the long arms, are more easily comparable to human bodies. They also have red eyes, and a pair of points around their neck that could justify their mutant appearance. They wear white shirts, small black shoes and brown pants with dark-red suspenders.

• The Sharkmen’s outfits are similar to that of Jaws’s in the 1979 James Bond film Moonraker.
