Mariachis, also known as Mexican Skeletons, are colorful, skeletal enemies that appear in Rayman Legends and Rayman: The Board Game. They are the main enemies in Fiesta de los Muertos.

Description

Mariachis resemble the typical human skeleton, though with cartoon proportions, and are Mexican-inspired in their appearance. They come in many different colors, such as green, purple, and pink. They typically wear small hats, and have small, curly mustaches. They carry small guitars, and try to hurt the Heroes with them.

In Rayman Legends

In Rayman Legends, mariachis are the main enemies of the Fiesta de los Muertos, the third world of the game. They also appear in some invaded levels.

Mariachis are not a huge threat to Rayman and friends, and actually appear to be citizens of the Fiesta de los Muertos. In Mariachi Madness and the invaded levels, they can be seen strumming guitars and playing trumpets, implying that they enjoy music. They also appear to enjoy arena fights, as they put Rayman and his friends in an arena to fight El Luchador.
