Giant Eels are aquatic and flying creatures from the Sea of Serendipity and the Angsty Abyss that appear in Rayman Origins. Despite their name, they appear as marine arthropods with a segmented body.

A Giant Eel known as the Guardian of the Ocean World watches over the passageway between the Gourmand Land and the Sea of Serendipity. The heroes battle it in Aim for the Eel!, the last level of the Gourmand Lands. They encounter it as they fly across the sea on the back of their mosquito allies. In order to defeat it, its segments must be successively destroyed by shooting at their rear part.

Two more are found in Murray of the Deep, the last level of the Angsty Abyss, where they chase the heroes underwater until they reach Murray's nest. They cannot be fought.

Giant Eels appear as larger, blue versions of the Mini-Murrays – small eel enemies who are encountered in Beware of Mini-Murray, the penultimate level of the Angsty Abyss. The final boss of this world is Murray, an aquatic dragon who reverts into a shrimp when defeated in Murray of the Deep. Murray's name implies that he has sort of connection to the Guardian and the Mini-Murrays.
