Dragons are major enemies in Teensies In Trouble, the first world of Rayman Legends. They are the companions of Lividstones, and a large one named Grunderbite is the boss of this world.

They play a similar role to the dragons from Olympus Maximus.

Appearance

Dragons have yellow eyes, and sport four small limbs. They have short, stubby tails with three spikes on the end, and small, wobbly wings. They also wear spiked collars on their necks. They are inspired by the dragons of European mythology.

In Rayman Legends

In Rayman Legends, dragons are first seen in Once upon a Time’s opening sequence. Here, they are seen raiding the forest alongside the Lividstones and carrying cages with Teensies inside them.

The heroes first encounter them in How to Shoot your Dragon. One can be seen in the background of the first section, possibly foreshadowing their appearance. Later on, after being called on by a Dark Teensy, multiple dragons, breathing fire at the heroes. They can be defeated with a single Blue Punch or, in the Wii U, PlayStation Vita, and Switch versions, with one of the flaming rocks fired by Murfy’s slingshot. Another one appears in the level’s invaded counterpart, albeit in the background. A large, purple dragon appears in Castle Rock and its 8-bit counterpart, once again breathing fire at the heroes. This one cannot be defeated, despite multiple dragons being present among a pile of defeated enemies at the end of the level.

Brawlhalla

A dragon of this species was supposed to be added as a sidekick in the fighting game Brawlhalla, as part of a Rayman-themed event, but it was removed from the game files before the start of the event.[1]
