Carnivorous lianas are enemies which appear in Rayman Legends, Rayman Adventures and Rayman Mini.

They are carnivorous plants which, at first glance, look like regular vines, but start rising when the heroes hang from them. While carnivorous lianas are often necessary to reach otherwise inaccessible areas, the heroes must jump off them before the liana has risen all the way to the mouth of the plant, or they will be eaten.

In Rayman Legends, carnivorous lianas are found in Teensies In Trouble, and later in other levels invaded by creatures from Teensies In Trouble: "What the Duck? - Invaded" in Fiesta de los Muertos, "Mansion of the Deep - Invaded" in 20,000 Lums Under the Sea and "Swarmed and Dangerous - Invaded" in Olympus Maximus.

Rayman Mini

In Rayman Mini, tiny carnivorous lianas appear the Rabbit Hole, the Foliage, and "Caterp-Hell-Art" and "High-Hanging Fruit", the second and third levels of the Bonus world. From version 1.3.0 onwards, they also appear in "Black Birdy", the music level set in the Foliage.
