Spiky snakes are enemies which appear in Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends.

Description

Spiky snakes appear in two colours.

First are purple. They are invincible. They are sometimes used as a shield for red ones.

Second are red. They aren't invincible. Defeating them takes as many mosquito shots as their number of body segments.

Redesigned spiky snakes also appear in the Fiesta de los Muertos in Rayman Legends.

Role in Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends

In these versions, those creatures appear in Snake Eyes and Don't Shoot the DJ.

Spiky snakes also appear in two levels of Olympus Maximus. In the Amazing Maze, a red one similar to those from the Grumbling Grottos can be seen in a room. In the Great Lava Pursuit - Invaded, the redesigned spiky snakes from the Fiesta de los Muertos appear.
