The River Stream is the first world in Rayman Mini. It is a riverside environment where Rayman runs along the stream and often crosses it. The levels teach the player the basics of the game.

Levels

  • 1-1: Let's get started

Let's get started teaches the player how to jump, collect lums and Skull Coins, and overall play the game.

  • 1-2: Glade surfing

Glade surfing introduces Rayman's Helicopter ability, allowing him to cross gaps and collect lums.

  • 1-3: Punching and kicking

In Punching and kicking, as suggested by the name of the level, Rayman unlocks the ability to attack, allowing him to break barriers and trigger bulbs containing flowers.

  • 1-4: Dandelioning

In this level, Rayman must grab dandelions to glide across rivers and collect extra lums.

  • 1-5: Ziplining

In this level, Rayman uses ropes to zipline across large bodies of water and get extra lums.

Geysering

In this level, Rayman uses geysers to propel him to otherwise unreachable areas. This level also introduces the first enemy in the game, Psychlops.

Swinging

Swinging features lots of spiky flowers for Rayman to avoid, some of which have hands for him to swing on so he can avoid the level's hazards.

Neverending

This level puts all you have learned to the test, from using a leaf to cross a spiky flower-filled river, to attacking bulbs to retract walls of spiky flowers, to complete the level.

Gone fishing

The first boss level of the game, Gone fishing pits Rayman against a group of hungry anglerfish without modified luminescent fin rays.

The music mode introduced in version 1.3.0 also features a location set in the River Stream, Tropical Punch. The music in this level is that of Gloo Gloo in Rayman Legends, itself based on the song "Woo Hoo" by The 5.6.7.8's.
