The Green Teensy is a playable Teensy character in Rayman Origins and Rayman Fiesta Run.

Description

The Green Teensy wears a completely green costume, featuring a dark-green coat with lima-coloured edges and a light-green shirt.

Role in the games

Rayman Origins

Let us give thanks for big noses... Nobody inhales flies like you!!! Weren't you king last time I saw you? Oh, that was the other one? I'm confused, are you confused?! Nevermind. Play! Be free! Spin spells! Tell tall tales! Live!

In Rayman Origins, the Green Teensy appears as a playable character from the start. Unlike all other characters unlocked by default (the other ones being Rayman, Globox and Goth Teensy) he can't be seen in the intro. Instead the Grand Minimus is seen, who is an unlockable character. As a possible joke to this inconsistency, the Bubble Dreamer acts surprised at how the Grand Minimus changed to a Green Teensy at the Snoring Tree. The Bubble Dreamer also exalts the Green Teensy for his ability to inhale flies while snoring, though it is only Goth Teensy who is ever seen doing this, which is during the intro.

Several other Green Teensies can be seen in the level Riding the Storm where they help the Nymphs to focus their magic energy to open the path to the Moody Clouds. Much like the Red Wizards from the level Moseying the Mountain, the players can interact with the Green Teensies by slapping them which will result in them slapping back at Rayman and his friends.

Rayman Jungle Run

In Rayman Jungle Run, a Green Teensy appears next to the Lums counting spiral at the end of a level screen if the player managed to collect 45 Lums.

Rayman Fiesta Run

In Rayman Fiesta Run, the Green Teensy can be purchased for 500 Lums.

Rayman Legends

The Green Teensy is the only playable character from Rayman Origins that is not playable in Rayman Legends. However, early gameplay footage, his appearance on the Shooting Me Softly painting, and the presence of his sprites in the game's files show that the Green Teensy was planned to appear in the game as a playable character, but was scrapped for unknown reasons. His sprites would later be reused for his appearance in Rayman Fiesta Run.

Additionally, several green Teensies can be seen up on trees during the introduction of the level Once upon a Time. This area is invaded by a gang of evil Lividstones, who attack the Teensies violently and capture them in cages, transported by small forest dragons. Early gameplay footage shows that these Green Teensies would have been able to be freed from cages in levels, but they were replaced with Teensies in prisoner clothes in the final game.

A Green Teensy tied to a rocket also appears as an icon when playing an invaded level.

Rayman Adventures

While the Green Teensy does not appear in any public releases of Rayman Adventures, its icon from Rayman Origins is present in the files of the early build, used to represent Teensy prisoners in Toad Story. It also appears when playing an invaded level.
