Champion Ray, originally known as Ray Dev team, is an exclusive skin in Rayman Legends. When appearing on the leaderboards by the developers it was always accompanied by the name UbiRay.
Description
Champion Ray shares the same look as Rayman, however, his skin and hair are colored purple, and his torso bears the Ubisoft logo rather than the 'O' symbol that he is renowned for. His shoes are gray on the older design (on PC, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) or more blue in the latest design (on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch).

He was originally named Ray Dev team and only available to the developers of the game. He could be spotted on the online leaderboards when the developers played the challenges. Normal players have since found ways to access him by hacking the game.

In the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, he is available to VIP members under the name Champion Ray. The VIP status was only given to certain active players who continuously got good scores in the Online Challenges, and who were active in the community.
In the Nintendo Switch version, he is unlocked by default, along with the rest of the non-Nintendo console exclusive costumes.
