The map of the Trunk with all levels completed

The Trunk is the fourth world in Rayman Mini. It is an environment made mostly of wood, with numerous mechanisms activated by various levers, buttons and handles, and scattered with dangerous spikes. The boss is a group of green toads who shoot at Rayman using the same guns and projectiles as the Underwater Toads from Rayman Legends.

Levels

4-1 A-Maze-ing

"A-Maze-ing" introduces switches to the game. Both are triggered by punching or performing a crush attack on them, and they cause a variety of events to occur.

4-2 Winds of change

This level introduces gusts of wind that allow Rayman to fall slower and use his helicopter hair to fly upwards.

4-3 On time and on target

"On time and on target" uses the target switches to open compartments containing strings of Lums.

4-4 By the skin of your teeth

This level uses multiple handles for Rayman to grab onto and jump off of to avoid spikes.

4-5 Tooth and Nail

"Tooth and Nail" features lots of spikes and Psychlops for Rayman to avoid.

4-6 Clockwork Spikes

"Clockwork Spikes" features moving spikes, forcing Rayman to think fast and act faster to avoid getting hurt.

4-7 Ups and Downs

This level uses more moving spikes, this time mainly being triggered by hitting various switches.

4-8 In The Lum's Den

"In The Lum's Den" mainly utilizes wall-jumping and using gusts of wind to progress. A toad will shoot at the protagonist near the end, foreshadowing the next level.

4-B Hunting Season

The fourth boss level in the game, "Hunting Season", pits Rayman against an army of toads who shoot at him using the same guns and projectiles as the Underwater Toads from Rayman Legends.

Life on a String

The music mode introduced in version 1.3.0 also features a location set in the Trunk, "Life on a String". The music in this level is that of Dragon Slayer in Rayman Legends, itself based on the song "Antisocial" by Trust.

Trivia

  • Two levels have references to the Bible:
  • There is an easter egg in the level "On time and on target". If the player opens the third wooden window with a switch and waits for a few seconds, a toad with Globox's sprites (nicknamed "Glotoad") will show up from the window before going back down.
