—Description, Ubisoft Nano

Rayman's Incrediballs Dodge was a browser-based game available on the Ubisoft Nano platform, a collection of HTML5 party games.

The game was released in August 2021 and could be played at nano.ubisoft.com/RaymansIncrediballsDodge/index.html until its shutdown in 2024.

Gameplay

The player would play as different Incrediballs, of which more than 20 families could be unlocked by various means. Originally, Rayman was not a character in the game, but he was later added in December 2021.[1] Shayman was also added in March 2022.[2]

The game took place in a large arena divided into square fields (fifteen horizontally and fifteen vertically), and the goal was to be the last player standing by dodging the various hazards and eliminating other players. Players start with three hearts and could be damaged by various projectiles crossing the arena horizontally or vertically, thorn bushes and holes they could fall into. The arena also shrinks at regular intervals, and the players located at the edge were damaged and would respawn. Other hazards included obstacles that prevent movement and plants that temporarily immobilized the player.

Various bonuses could be found in the arena, such as hearts that restore life, shields that provided temporary protection, and boxing gloves that allowed the player to push opponents over the edge of the arena. Lums could also be collected, acting as the in-game currency that could be used to unlock more Incrediballs.

Rayman's Incrediballs Dodge also provided general, weekly and daily leaderboards.

After finishing the level the game shows your rank, how much time the game was and how much lums you collected on the board, then it shows you how much lums you based on 3 categories: Gameplay, Achievement and Mode Bonus.

Shutdown

At a currently unknown date in early 2024, Ubisoft Nano games were silently discontinued, rendering them unplayable. Rayman's Incrediballs Dodge was one of those games, causing it to join the list of unplayable Rayman games, and possibly also the list of Rayman lost media.
