Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge is a spin-off "sequel" of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, and was released only for the Game Boy Advance in 2005. It is the first of Rayman's game to use an isometric dimension. The plot has notable similarities with both the Rayman 2 plot and the Rayman 3 plot. Andre returns and Globox again swallows him, so Rayman and Globox must get him out.
Characters
Rayman
The main protagonist. You play as him in most levels.
Globox
Globox is Rayman's friend who has again swallowed the Dark Lum Lord Andre. You get to play as him in a few levels.
Murfy
Murfy is a knowledgable flying green frog who, as in all Rayman games he appears in, helps you out and gives you hints.
André
André is the main villain of this game and Rayman 3. His spirit, still trapped inside Globox, has reawakened the Hoodlums and wants revenge.
Reflux Clone
In hopes of defeating Rayman, the Hoodlums create a clone of Reflux who Rayman must defeat.
Levels
The Fairy Council
Returning from Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc, this is the tutorial level where Murfy explains to Rayman the basics of the game.
Clearleaf Forest
Here, Rayman meets the Doc as he begins his search for Globox. This level also returns from Rayman 3.
Clearleaf Falls
Rayman learns to use the Throttle Copter here to fly through the many waterfalls of this area.
The Infernal Machine
Rayman must destroy Reflux's plum juice factory.
Vertiginous Riddle
This bonus level can be unlocked by achieving six Murfy stamps. It is a world high up in the clouds.
Dungeons of Murk
This is the first level where you play as Globox, who, having been captured by the Hoodlums, must sneak past them all to escape. Globox also shows his first signs of a split personality as he starts saying cruel and rude things.
Rivers of Murk
Rayman is trapped on a small island surrounded by water, so the Doc lets him borrow his raft to ride through the currents, using the switches to change their direction every now and then.
Bog of Murk
The Teensies have been captured by the Hoodlums, and Globox must free all six of them in order to escape the Hoodlums. Once again, this level returns from Rayman 3.
Begoniax Bayou
Rayman and Globox are reunited and Rayman must battle a previous enemy of his, Begoniax, by using her frog-transforming potions against her.
Hoodlum Moor
This is the first level that allows you to play as both Rayman and Globox. You must continuously switch between the two of them to give each other access to different areas of the level.
Land of the Livid Dead
Rayman and Globox must travel through the perilous underground caves. However, Rayman starts noticing Globox's cruel comments. This is also the final level of the game to return from Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. Strangely, however, it is a deep, dark cave filled with lava rather than being the mysterious and peaceful forest it was in Hoodlum Havoc.
Sulphurous Sea
This bonus level can be unlocked by achieving --- Murfy Stamps. It is a sea of lava which you must travel across using a raft, finding the occasional islands now and then to find more Lums, cages and switches.
Menhirs of Power
Globox has wandered off again, so Rayman has to find him. After finding him, he and Globox must collect the six runes that go in the corresponding menhirs to access the way out. Rayman also learns to use the Fire Protection can here, which lets him walk on lava for a short time.
Pit of Endless Fire
Rayman must battle a Fire Monster. When it is defeated, the spirit of Andre, still possessed inside Globox from when he swallowed him in Rayman 3, announces his full control over Globox.
Clouds of Peril
Rayman must fly over the heights of the clouds in order to survive.
Cloudy Cache
This level can be unlocked by achieving 25 Murfy Stamps. It is pretty much similar to Clouds of Peril.
Heart of the World
Andre's most powerful Hoodlum forces have taken over the Heart of the World, so Rayman must watch out if he is to get to the final battle.
