Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition is a compilation and remaster of the original Rayman game, developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Ubisoft in partnership with Atari to commemorate the series's 30th anniversary. Its digital edition was released on February 13 2026, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and Ubisoft Connect, and a physical version containing postcards, stickers and a poster is set to release in June 2026.

Announcement

The title was first leaked through a rating that appeared on the Australian Classification Board on 22 January 2026.[1] Additional details listed Atari as the developer and publisher, and UI Entertainment as the applicant.

Before the official announcement, Michel Ancel hinted at the project in an interview, noting that it would feature changes intended to make the game less frustrating than the original.[2]

The game was officially announced during Sony's State of Play on 12 February 2026, confirming the involvement of Digital Eclipse, a studio known for its archival compilations and purchased by Atari in 2023.

Content

The compilation includes five emulated versions of the original game:

  • Rayman (original PlayStation version, 1995)
  • Rayman (Atari Jaguar version, 1995)
  • Rayman (MS-DOS version, 1995)
  • Rayman (Game Boy Color version, 2000)
  • Rayman Advance (Game Boy Advance version, 2001)

For the first time officially, the collection also includes the unreleased Super Nintendo prototype version of the game from 1992.

Additional levels

The collection includes the expansion packs originally released for the PC version of the game:

Features

The game includes additional content such as over 50 minutes of interviews with the original developers, a gallery of concept art and the previously unreleased Bible of Game Design. It also features a reimagined soundtrack by Christophe Héral, the composer for the UbiArt Rayman games.

Quality of life

The game includes a 60-second rewind feature and multiple save slots. Additionally, a menu allows players to toggle several cheats, though activating some of them disables achievements:

  • Infinite lives
  • Maximum health points
  • Infinite continues
  • Unlock all levels
  • Unlock all abilities

Physical version

A physical version containing postcards, stickers and a poster is set to release in June 2026.

I don't remember when specifically, but it will be in HD and I think Ubisoft is adding a few more checkpoints and things like that just to make it a bit less frustrating. »
