Raving Rabbids have invaded Rayman's world and kidnapped all his friends! To rescue them, Rayman must now fight the Rabbids and save the day!
—Intro, Rayman Raving Rabbids (mobile phone)

Rayman Raving Rabbids is a mobile phone title based on the console game of the same name. Like the Game Boy Advance version, this iteration is a two-dimensional sidescrolling platformer; however, it is very different from traditional Rayman games in that its gameplay is an almost direct copy of that of the early Sonic the Hedgehog titles. Rayman traverses levels at extreme speeds, often rolling into a ball. Familiar gameplay elements such as cages, Purple Lums and Teensies reappear, but beyond that, the game has little in common with the others in the series.

Gameplay

The game is very reminiscent of the early Sonic the Hedgehog titles. Rayman must make his way through seven levels (three forest levels, two desert levels and two lava factory levels), which feature a cage with Teensies at the end.

Rayman can do his standard movements like jumping, running and use his helicopter and telescopic fist powers. Throughout the adventure, he will find power-ups that will help him progress through the level or defeat enemies, such as a plunger launcher or a plunger inflator.

The game has three levels of difficulty: easy, normal and hard. The amount of hearts that Rayman has depends on the difficulty (four in easy, three in normal and one in hard). The player can find stars throughout the levels: collecting 100 of them gives Rayman an extra life.
