The Viking ship.

The Viking ship is a vehicle which appeared in Rayman Adventures. The ship is piloted by the Captain, who has agreed to help Rayman and Barbara on their quest to retrieve the stolen eggs which sustain the Sacred Tree. The ship's mainsail features an emblem of the Sacred Tree, although an early version of the mainsail sported an emblem of a battle axe similar to Barbara's. The ship is mainly used to travel between adventures, but is also the place where the Incubator is located. Most of the game's other menus, such as the shop and character selection, also take place inside the ship.

When starting a new adventure, the Captain would fly the ship to a specific point on the map. He would presumably drop the heroes off at the first level before flying the ship out of reach. Completing the final level and placing the egg in the Incubator would make the ship appear once more. Tapping it opened up the world map, allowing the player to choose one of the eggs on the map to go to next.
