How to earn
Gems are collectibles in Rayman Adventures which could be earned by completing levels, achievements, daily missions, scratching lucky tickets, watching ads, and from purchasing using real money. Gems could in turn be used to purchase heroes, elixirs, reduce hatch times and to get more beatbox slots.
Shop
Going to the shop you can buy various packs of gems using real money, you can also watch an ad to get 10 Gems.

Achievements
Completing achivements gives you Gems. Achievements like Lum-a-holic or Seek, and Ye Shall Find do not give Gems upon completing for the first time.
Level Score
Depending on how well the player did, completing a level gave them up to 20 gems; meanwhile, choosing to watch an ad granted the player 10 gems.

Daily Missions
Upon completing the daily missions, the player will receive a Lucky ticket, which can award you with Gems.

Challenges
Upon completing Marathons such as the Summer Marathon the #1 Ranked player will receive 100 Gems while the Top 2% will receive only 50 Gems

Lucky Tickets
Buying a lucky ticket has a chance of giving the player Gems after scrathced.
Special Packs
Buying certain packs like the Starter Pack or Relentless Rescuer Pack will give Gems.

Uses
Revive
Upon first death in a level you can pay 10 Gems to be revived, dying again increases the price to 20 Gems, dying a third time makes the price 50 Gems to revive.

Elixirs
The player can buy different lixir suing gems such as: New Creature Elixir, Gold Elixir and Silver Elixir.
Skipping wait time
If the player doesn't have Time Elixirs they can use Gems to instantly hatch an Egg.

Costumes
Gems could also be used to buy skins, some skins cost 150 Gems, some 500 Gems and even 3000 Gems.
BeatBox Tracks
Gems can buy extra beatbox tracks to save when making music with the Incredibals in the Sacred Tree.

Revealing Eggs
For 100 Gems you can make the Captain show the Egg rarity on the world map.

Adventures Continuation
If an Adventures runs out of time you can spend 5 Gems to get an extra 1 hour extention to your current adventure.
Food
If the player doesn't have enough food they can buy and gain 10 food for 30 gems.
