Spring maracas are a type of maraca found in Band Land, in the original Rayman game and its spin-offs.
When stepped on, spring maracas cushion Rayman's jump, sinking slightly before springing back to their original positions. It is usually safer not to stand on them for too long, as they are often placed above wrong notes.
Spring maracas are near identical in appearance to maracas rockets, another type of maraca which ignite when stepped on and can be used as a flying platform. Both spring maracas and maracas rockets are available in Rayman Designer and its spin-offs.
