Maracas are musical instruments found in Band Land in the original Rayman game and its spin-offs. They come in three types, each with a distinct behavior.
- Maracas rockets, also known as rocket-maracas, which ignite when stepped on and can be used as flying platforms.
- Spring maracas, similar in appearance to the above but which, when stepped on, only sink slightly before springing back to their original position.
