Drawing pins are dangerous items found in the original Rayman game, Maths and English with Rayman, Rayman Designer and the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids. In Rayman Adventures the pins make a return but are used to indicate an adventure that has already been completed.

Appearances

In Rayman and its spin-offs

In the original Rayman game, drawing pins are only found in Picture City. They exist in two different sizes: while the largest type features eyes and can be oriented in all directions, the smaller type is always found in boxes, and can sometimes be deadly if Rayman falls in a large box.

In Rayman Designer, pins appear as both enemy and scenery events. There are six types of drawing pins which appear as enemy events. The scenery pins simply known as pins come in 10 different versions.

  • Drawing pin down - A drawing pin pointing down.
  • Drawing pin up - A drawing pin pointing up.
  • Drawing pin left - A drawing pin pointing left.
  • Drawing pin right - A drawing pin pointing right.
  • Double drawing pin - A drawing pin pointing up combined with a drawing pin pointing down.
  • Drawing pin platform - A drawing pin pointing down which Rayman can safely stand on.

In the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids

In the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids, drawing pins can be found in the Kids' Hamlet.

In Rayman Adventures

Pins make a return in this game, but not the same way, instead they mark spots where the player has gone thought an Adventure in the world map. The more adventures the player progresses the more transparent pins for older adventures become.
