A bunch of pencils blocking the way back in the original Rayman game.

Pencils are items found in Picture City in the original Rayman game, Rayman Junior and Rayman Designer. The color in which they appear is randomized each time they are shown on screen.

In Rayman Designer there are nine pencils which appear as enemy events and one which appears as a scenery.

  • Falling pencil - Falls down while facing down.
  • Down pencil fixed - Facing down.
  • Up pencil fixed - Facing up.
  • Pencil wall going down - only one - A single pencil facing down.
  • Pencil wall going down - first - The first pencil in a group of pencils facing down.
  • Pencil wall going down - suite - The rest of the pencils in a group of pencils facing down (has to be linked to Pencil wall going down - first)
  • Pencil wall going up - only one - A single pencil facing up.
  • Pencil wall going up - first - The first pencil in a group of pencils facing up.
  • Pencil wall going up - suite - The rest of the pencils in a group of pencils facing up (has to be linked to Pencil wall going up - first)
  • Pencil - A part of the scenery. Appears as a horizontal block which is usually connected to a killdoor.
