Little Livingstones are enemies found only in the Dream Forest, the first world of the original Rayman game.

In Rayman and its spin-offs

Little Livingstones are averagely resistant enemies who freely wander on their platforms, turning backwards when they reach an obstacle. Rayman must avoid getting too close to them, as they can throw their hands and attack him from a small distance. They are much more aggressive than their taller counterparts, who are quite meek.

Little Livingstones are sometimes difficult to eliminate, as they can duck to avoid Rayman's fist. Unlike the tall Livingstones, the small ones cannot be disposed of by knocking a plum onto their heads.

In Rayman Designer, they appear as events exclusive to the Jungle world. There are two types available to choose from: Little livingstones and Ferocious little livingstones. The Ferocious type acts more aggressively, even before getting hit.

In the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids

Although they don't appear in the game they can be found in the files for the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids. They feature a similar design to the Livingstones, although smaller.

Trivia

  • In the bible dedicated to the Atari Jaguar console, there's a picture where Rayman is on the head of a little Livingstone, a feature which was scrapped early on. Another image shows that Rayman originally could meet with little Livingstones riding a spider.
  • It was initially expected that some little Livingstones use plums to move. The animation and object state was kept in the game files for all versions, but was not used for unknown reasons.
