Spiders are enemies found in the Blue Mountains and the Caves of Skops in the original Rayman game, Maths and English with Rayman and Rayman Designer. In the original game, they only appear in Crystal Palace and Eat at Joe's. With their plunger-like feet, they are very different from the variety which can be found in Rayman 2, its remakes, and the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman 3.

- Climbing spider - Starts by moving on the ground, then jumps up to the ceiling when close to Rayman. Only available in the Cave world.
