Large-mouthed fish are fish with oversized mouth and teeth that appear in the original Rayman game and the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids.
In Rayman
In the original Rayman game, large-mouthed fish appear in the Caves of Skops, in the last phase of Eat at Joe's. They represent the main danger in this level. Large-mouthed fish swim back and forth and try to bite Rayman when he is in sight. It is recommended to duck, but it is however possible, with perfect timing, to punch them when they jump. They somewhat resemble the piranhas from the earlier levels of the game.
In the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids
Large-mouthed fish also appear in the Forest world from the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids, in which they are not seen swimming but only leap out of the water at a fixed position, continuously until they are punched. Once beaten, their teeth fall apart and they sink.
