Feu nourri (from the French for ‘sustained fire’) is one of the three minigames available in the French Rayman Collector game for the PC. This minigame, along with the other two (le bouingue and multiplication des pains), was produced by Ludifactory specially for the release of Rayman Collector in June 1999.

Helping Rayman avoid the Antitoons in feu nourri.

Feu nourri (French for sustained fire), also known in German as Luftangriff, is one of the three minigames (along with le bouingue and multiplication des pains) available in Rayman 100 Levels and Rayman Collector.

Description

This minigame takes place against a Picture City background, but with Dream Forest plants in the foreground. The player uses their mouse to control a targeting reticle, with which they must click on Antitoons to defeat them before they can reach Rayman and cause a game over. Rayman will grimace and lose a life if the player clicks on him. Each Antitoon that is defeated gives 1 point. Butterflies can also be seen flying around the area. Clicking on them does nothing. During the gameplay Rayman moves by himself, sometimes he stays still and other times he runs to another part of the screen. The player starts with 3 lives, and receives an extra one after defeating 10 Antitoons, then 11 more, then 12 more, and so on. In mathematical terms, an extra life is granted for every 0.5n2+9.5n Antitoons, where n=1,2....

The game ends when all lives have been lost. Once finished, the player's score will be shown on a small score list. The score table is reset after exiting the main application.
