Bongos are a small type of drum that appear in the original Rayman game, Rayman Junior, Rayman Designer and the Game Boy Color version of Rayman.

In the original Rayman game

In this game, bongos are only found in Band Land. Most of them float in the air, and start falling a split second after Rayman jumps onto them, making it vital to be quick. The others are held by monks, who regularly swing them but never let them fall.

In Rayman Designer, there are several types of bongos which appear as events.

  • Bongo
  • Bongo left eye
  • Bongo right eye

In the Game Boy Color version of Rayman

In this game, bongos appear in Airy Tunes. While their appearance is slightly different than in the original game, their behavior is identical. Bongos close their eyes upon being jumped on.
